As we know, the photostability is one of the important application our engineers improved the control of the light system. For applications with Friocell or Climacell with UV or VIS or both exposition light sources (shelves) - acc. ICH Q1BCPMP/ICH/279/95, Option 2, MMM offers separate electronical control of the exposition time period. In easy configuration menu the user sets separate exposure time for VIS and exposure time for UV light. Using this solution the user is automatically informed about end of exposition- and exposition light is automatically switched off.
This solution shortens test time significantly. The function will be implemented for max. two separate shelves installed – either both VIS or UV, or one UV and one VIS, or COMBI shelves (VIS/UV sources mixture on one shelf). The system is able also generate the record (exposition start and end date and time, starting illumination value, exposition time, batch no) of every finished UV or VIS exposition.
The option will be available without extra charge for all units with exposure light source and will be launched in summer 2009.
